SHOWS & EVENTS
• I am just back from a glorious adventure in Europe which included a twenty day painting seminar in Austria. The painting workshop "Old Masters, New Visions" was taught by Philip Rubinov-Jacobson, a former student of Ernst Fuchs. For twenty days we delved into the technique and history of 'mische' developed by Jan Van Eyck. Within the framework of the Visionary Art movement, which stems from The Vienna School of Fantastic Realism, we learned this ancient tempera and oil technique.
